The deployment of force and military technology in the occupation of a territory is known as theater of operations. When the activity ceases and political interests are diverted to another geostrategic focus, remains the destruction and abandonment of cities as a witness of this tragic drama. The void volume and the debris piled reveal a ghostly image. The ability to draw a geography of these dropouts would bring along multiple lines of conflict in the contemporary world. These traces marks the dominant political and economic models recorded in the region in order to perpetuate regional imbalances that keep areas of privilege and influence in a globalized world.
From the collection of cardboard packaging technology devices and their casting in concrete pieces, a urban model is producedel and its material qualities and composition are reminiscent of some of the images of cities who have been victims of this conflict. The layout of this grouping on a concret platform with wheels suggests that forced mobility that the surviving population is doomed.
